To be fair class is more than just an "issue, sure." If you're an upper class black person you'll have plenty of privilege in life. Not racial privileges, sure, but classism is a major issue with social justice and left-leaning people in the US, along with the denial of class impacting how people live their lives.

And I'm not that guy, but I'm a black guy here, and racial oppression in the modern age is all around us. It's the same as in the past, except the media has more black people. It's accepted in media that blacks are okay. They're in all the sports, they're In a lot of big movies and shows now, but what about the rest of the black? Sure they're only 14% of the American population but I'd say 10% of them are uneducated, still living in the trap, living life not knowing any better. Yes there are quotas among universities and workplaces, but it's just put in place to give the appearance that the higher ups actually care. The reason those laws and quotas are there in the first place, is because if they weren't there, zero black people would even be in that position. White people avoid black people like the plague. Something like most of the 60% of America (white people) treat the 14% of blacks like animals. Either admiring them in awe or terrified of them, naturally leading to oppression, And that will never change. (I hope it does though)

i'm referring to how a ground level implementation of services would be MORE USEFUL than just putting people into power in corporations, not saying that it can only be one or the other. obviously do both, but I think it's more important to give people opportunities to end inequalities because just putting more black people into positions while the people living in poverty continue to get fucked by the system aren't really having anything change for them.

There's a lot of ra ra unrealistic n aggressive black activists out there, though they come from a good place, but black righteousness and black leaders are a must. You're totally right of course. Weak-willed and resentful people (typically minorities and progressives) see an unequal outcome and immediately blame it on society's biases rather than personal failings or incompetence. They truly believe in the inherent equality in all peoples and cultures, and if they see that not all ethnicities are performing equally, it is because people are invisibly going out of their way to keep them down.
The simple fact of the matter is that systemic racism is explicitly illegal in modern Western society, and the American government, academic institutions, all major media, and innumerable nonprofit organizations dedicate a significant amount of time and money toward babysitting black people and promoting their social success. But black people don't want equality of opportunity, they already have that and then some, they want equality of outcome, and so they will whinge as long as a significant portion of black person are failing i.e. forever.
