OP here. I've listened to that album every day for about 4 years. Nearly all of the people I show it to brush it off. I've been playing instruments for most of my life so maybe that contributes to my enjoyment, but I think it's more just what strikes a chord with you.

James Blake has been my favorite artist since I discovered him. His stuff hits me harder than anything else has. I don't really know how to explain it, but I can understand not feeling it.
