been revisiting swans discography recently and i'm taken aback by how boring a lot of it is. i used to think it was incredible and groundbreaking back when i first started browsing /mu/ 4 years ago but since then i've exposed myself to many different kinds of music. of course some of it is still great, anyone else feel the same way?

Seriously though, I really like the first two tracks, Cloud of Unknowing has got to be my favorite though. Frankie M falls in third place and maybe When Will I Return in last. Looking forward to the title track though. And they usually pull a good closer, so that too. Pretty solid so far. As a final send-off, I'm sure a lot of people will find it disappointing though. Honestly, it's Swans doing Swans, delivering music as only they can.
