I can't imagine the confusion that would come with releasing a debut that shoves you into stardom, following it up with a somewhat different sounding sophomore effort that is really a pouring out of all of your emotions, no matter how pitiful they are, having that get shit on and stomped on. And after that, try and go back to what you did the first time around, end up making mad cash again but end up finding out after a while that what you publicly declared your biggest mistake was now considered an acclaimed classic.
