What are some of the best headphones? My cheapo JVC DJ phones are blowing out. I'm looking for a set with a decent range and fuller sounding bass for mainly electronic/rock stuff. $150 dollar budget here, was thinking Sennheisers.
ATH-M50s if you don't mind your ears hurting like a bitch after a few hours of use.

Seconded. Stupid faggots will tell you that they're overrated, but they're super solid headphones for the price. They do hurt your ears after extended sessions though.

Consider the Sennheiser HD558's. Very comfortable and well-within your price range.
I personally use Beyerdynamic 990's.
beats by dre are nice

Dont listen to em. $150? HD558/598, Shp 9500, Porta Pro, AD900x. forget the meme50s.

Stupid faggot confirmed.
This isn't exactly the right thread, but maybe someone can help.
I've been thinking about buying a new mp3 player and nicer pair of headphones. I'm looking at the Fiio X3, but I'm not sure how much it can drive.
Does anyone have any opinions on the Fiio X3, or know how I can find information on the driving power of mp3 players as I shop around?

i would recommend looking for an older ipod (2009-2010) because they have a ton of storage and are pretty reliable. easy to figure out how to work as well.

what are u gonna be driving? if driving headphones is the only issue might as well just get a portable amp instead.

wow what a steal!

Saying something is a meme isn't a valid argument against it.
Are the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Premium 600 OHM Headphones good for the price ($250) or not? My other candidate is the Sennheiser HD 598 ($150)
>>65499569
yea but isnt even the price to performance king in its bracket as many suggest. Nor is it a flat/neutral/balanced headphone.
