Their latest one Death Magic had a (relatively) lot more mainstream appeal but it's my personal favorite. All the songs just flow into each other so perfectly. The first track was produced by The Haxan Cloak and just sounds massive. Men Today and Courtship II are my personal favorites.
If you want something a little more raw and unpolished Girl Attorney and Crimewave are where it's at. Let me know what you think; they were an acquired taste for me but now easily my 2nd favorite band to see live and probably top 3 overall.

I find Wilson's solo work a bit hit or miss, but Raven That Refused to Sing is better than any Porcupine Tree album imo.
