Nah, even when Metallica were good, too much of the stuff sounds the exact same. While now it's kinda obvious for me to hear it, it truly dawned on me back when I was still early in my guitar learning days and would want to play Metallica songs. Truly amazing how much we let this band get away with writing the same songs over and over again.
