Albums that changed your life. If you can, write a sentence or more why. I'll start. Found this album on here and listening to it late at night with the lights off made me feel really fucking good and maybe me think about life differently.
idk how it changed my life yet, but I know it did somehow
Shameless self bump.

Men with falsettos are my music fetish
I’m always a bit suspicious whenever someone tells me that an album has “changed” their life. More often than not, the exact opposite is true. No matter how good, the album in question hasn’t changed a thing at all, but merely affirmed some deeply ingrained, more pleasing vision of the listener’s identity. Many friends, for instance, claimed that they were immediately transformed upon hearing Bon Iver’s 2008 album, For Emma, Forever Ago, but I still can’t notice — three years later — any noticeable difference (if anything, they all just seem a little bit hairier). No, if music is going to change your life, it’s more likely to happen through an album that is disagreeable or even slightly disappointing, the one you really don’t want to play again. Simply put, if your musical hero is moving in a new direction, and not simply getting worse, that’s when you need to stop talking about yourself and pay attention

Funny that it made you feel good, considering what it's about. Though I guess the last song in it offers reassurance after all the other songs
Pic related was the first album I sat down and listened through, and made me realize there was so much more to music than just catchy tunes
>>65477466
It was really weird but also exciting after having only known Bob Dylan and The Beatles.
Channel Orange was my first step away from being a ska kid, if that counts
I was listening to this around the time I dropped out of highschool, changed my perspective on life
Changed the way I listen to music

Made me realize I loved one of my best friend's and made me incredibly happy for the next year where I met a large amount of people who I now call my friend's as opposed to her.

great album

this one made me listen to everything
This album made music one of my hobbies
>>65477185
grunge was never underground
it was always ~alternative~ which is called ~indie~ today
but the fact that those sort of pseudo-subculture things exist is pretty neat and it gets people into cool music and stuff so that's neat

Hvis Lyset Tar Oss completely blew me away when I first listening to it. It's like nothing I had ever heard before, and still haven't to this day other than Filosofem and some Paysage d'Hiver. The feelings it invokes are pretty unique and make me feel blissful.
>>65478046
This as well. Completely changed my thoughts on music and how I appreciate it.
Plastic Ono Band, the emotions displayed on it are so raw. His voice goes from calm to screaming his lungs out with passion.

This album most recently changed my life. Made me fall in love with music all over again. Changed the way I write music and reminded me that making music is actually what I want to do in life above all else.
