After years of dirt cheap, sub-par headphones, I finally decided to upgrade. The sound quality is great, and I can finally hear bass in songs that don't have a bass solo or have bass high up in the mix.
Music for this feel?

What did you buy exactly

Superlux HD-681 EVO
Nothing too fancy, but they're good for my budget
Literally any music
But I'd say any jazz that you already enjoy or jam bands (if you're into that) because you can clearly hear interplay between all the members and that calls for practically infinite relistening value.

If ya wanna hear bass; basically an italian band that plays a lot of bass and electronic things. The lyrics are good tho, ofc better if you know italian

listen to funk
Steely Dan ofc. James Blake's Limit to your Love is pretty fun on new equipment. Fever Ray s/t and Massive Attack's Mezzanine for some really well produced beat heavy downtempo pop
