Speaking as someone who actually unironically likes Billy Talent and their last single, everything down to the cover art is just infuriating. The whole song is this insufferable rock elitism; basically a rundown on why people hate rockists. Billy Talent has a niche they can pull off, but this smug self-satisfaction is way out of that niche. Even if I could tolerate songs like this, it's not like AC/DC where you could argue that they make rock sound as grand and all-conquering as they claim it is. Billy Talent just can't do something like that. Maybe they could in their mid-career with the crunchier guitars and rougher vocals, but this whole thing is too clean and smooth to help its argument. Every time I think about this song, it just pisses me off in new ways. Worst song of their whole career; even their awful funk stuff when they were Pezz.

Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
It's not the worst album I've heard, but I think it's by far the most overrated album out there. People calling it genius and writing essays looking for meaning in the asinine lyrics is really over the top to me, and unfortunately Kanye has an extremely obnoxious fanbase that are unable to accept criticism of their idol.
Add the fact that Kanye is an extremely unlikable person and I think this this is the only artist I really actively dislike.
