This has just been supposedly revealed, thoughts?
http://publicrhythm.com/26095
good, more awful robot noises for me to not listen to
>>65444776
Supposedly it's more in the style of windowlicker, here's a track from his soundcloud
https://youtu.be/_kdZXgVXdbw
>>65444779
Yet you listen to noise rock and hip hop instead. Time to die, little one!
>>65444761
really don't care .
gonna be another average ep he just sells to make some extra cash good on him tho.
his "leftovers" he dropped on soundcloud will probably be better than this.
>>65444841
is that confirmed as his soundcloud?
I really like that tune wow
>>65444942
From what I understand these are one of two things
1- Old unreleased tracks from a while ago
2- new music made after the soundcloud dump
I'm pretty sure this is just him showing he's not out of the business, SAWIII is supposedly half written so fingers crossed for more in the future
>>65445000
Yep, he privated all the soundcloud tracks though. He recently also unprivated and re private this track supposedly which adds to the believability.
>>65444841
This is excellent. I hope it's slated to be on the EP. Nice change of pace after Syro.

"The New Aphex Twin Release is a Synthesizer?
This afternoon, we received a card announcing that Aphex Twin will release a work called 'Cheetah EP'. On that card, which carries the logos of Warp and Aphex Twin, the text is just like the product description for a new synthesizer. The contents are as below:
[translation of the English text on the card]
The existence of this 'Cheetah EP' has already been spread as a rumour since last year by fans on We Are The Music Makers and Reddit. They cited comments on Aphex Twin's Soundcloud sub-account user18081971 as a source.
A certain WATMM user pointed out that the title 'Cheetah' may be in reference to the name of the maker of a 6-voice polyphonic synthesizer module released in the UK during the 1980s, the Cheetah MS6.
It's unconfirmed as to whether or not Richard is using the MS6, but it wasn't listed in the equipment list published with his 2014 album 'Syro'. The features and the specifications of the synthesizer described on the card they sent out seem to match the MS6, so knowing that, it's possible that this is a joke made by Richard watching the reactions of WATMM.
Whether or not it's related is unclear, but as of last week Aphex Twin has posted a track called 'Love 7' on the user18081971 account. Attached is an equipment list for tracks recorded in 2005, but of course the word 'Cheetah' is nowhere to be found.
*We received word through SNS that 'Love 7' was included on the digital version of 'Analord 11'. Thanks for informing us.
Update (21:51): Apparently, Aphex Twin had temporarily uploaded a track called 'Cheetah3 Teac' to the user18081971 Soundcloud last year. Currently, it seems that the track has been deleted from Soundcloud. https://www.discogs.com/user18081971-Cheetah3-Teac/release/7105063 "

The Aphex Twin Cheetah EP uses digital sound generation techniques combined with wave sequencing technology to bring you sounds with movement and depth rarely found on records today.
To assure you that your Cheetah Ep will give you many years of enjoyment, please be sure to read the owner's manual carefully before attempting to operate the Cheetah EP.
If you wish to experiment and create some sounds of your own, first try editing some sounds we've already made for you, before attempting to create a patch from scratch.
We sincerely hope that having battled through the programming of the Cheetah EP, you have not become familiar with the exceptional potential of this record.
Have fun programming, and if you create any superb patches and tones which you feel deserve to be appreciated by other Cheetah EP buyers, send a MIDI System Exclusive Dump of them, on a disc to us at WARP and if we also think they are superb, you could be rewarded for your efforts. Try us!

Is that the only site that's reported on this? i must know more
I'll listen to anything he shits out.
>>65445984
I believe so, however Japan usually gets music from him before us, idk why but I remember him saying something about it for the syro bonus tracks
>>65446132
Warp was pushing BoC's album in Japan first as well, there was that music video event in Shibuya
>>65445009
>SAW III is supposedly half written
Source please
>>65446334
So if this is following that pattern we should expect to hear more soon
>>65446379
It was a comment from him on his soundcloud which he's since deleted, there's a screenshot of it floating around somewhere but I can't seem to find it.
who cares
hes not even trying anymore
I'll probably get anything he does, liking the difference in appearance, them retro vibes
>>65446379
Found it
>>65446830
>SAW111
looks like we have another 109 SAWs coming our way lads
>>65447059
he's gonna be around for a long time going by the rate of this pic
>>65446830
>Actually trusting anything he says
So excited for this. The absurdity/wackyness of that cover and flyer convinces me that it's the real deal, hopefully this is the start of the hype train, just like the blimp was for Syro.
>>65447133
People didn't believe him for years when he said he owned a tank, and it turned out he owned a tank.
Is Aphex Twin back on soundcloud? The last time I checked his account had been suspended because some overly sensitive pricks got offended by his conspiracy theories.
from what I know he privated everything and just recently started unprivating posting new music and replying to people
>>65447273
He got spooked and privated all his tracks for some reason, he's made 2 public again and uploaded a new one (Analord bonus track). Who knows what's really going on regarding the Soundcloud, I'm just hoping for a new release soon.
>>65447256
>he doesn't finish SAWIII but instead goes on a killing massacre with his tank
>>65447375
>SAWIII is actually field recordings of the ambient noise of the massacre
>>65447133
he seems pretty open and honest recently
>>65448741
>>65447133
Richard is known to lie just so people will take the piss. It's just little jokes he makes with himself. He is basically a master troll in conducting his life with fans. I wouldn't say his music is the same, but in terms of what he tells fans/the press. absolutely.
>>65449414
Agred, he's usually pretty up front with music and releases but likes to fuck with people about other stuff
>>65449414
i think he's matured a bit, might have given up the antagonistic attitude now that thats how everybody normally acts
Shhh there's a death grips feature/remix
>>65449686
What's your source
>>65449679
I don't know man. Remember his p4k interview? then he did the SYRObonkers interview where he contradicted a ton of that stuff, then deleted the interview? like lied about being married and shit like that? That was very recent.
Oh shit, Death Grips are in on this?
Nice
fuck yeah, death grips x aphex twin
>>65449686
>>65450335
>>65450491
Meme Grips aren't on this shut the fuck up
>>65445000
>is that confirmed as his soundcloud?
m8 are you kidding? where the fuck were you last year lmao? he dropped 250ish tunes on sc
has anyone here listened to EVERYTHING he's done? how much have you heard of his work?
>>65453534
I've heard a bunch, but it would take around 48 hours to listen to everything he's done in a row. Pic related is what I own so far
has jeremy simmonds/voafose been confirmed to be an actual person and not just another afx alias?
