Nope. The music was still clearly made with the same intent as the music in the older games. They've updated the game's style, they haven't betrayed its essence.
If changing music to appeal to an audience is inauthentic, then keeping the music the same style to appeal to an audience would have been inauthentic as well (since it's obviously not the act of changing that takes away authenticity), and I don't believe that would have been the case.
