cozy? More like the soundtrack of a lunatic asylum.

The Gumbo Variations is my favorite song off this album. Makes me want to learn how to play a saxophone.
I'm recommending this to every post-bop fan.

Thanks for the rec, really liking the desert rock vibe
Found a YT vid of Lesson 1 and Ascension together by Glenn Branca and they both looked appealing. Pretty fucking sweet so far.

I love slint. Just bought Tweez on vinyl yesterday, I think I'll pay a visit to the Slint house some time; They're from my town.
>>65448551
Tweez is a bit underrated in my opinion, love the track Carol.
Underrated

how is it?

It's the best thing I'd ever expect Sean Lennon and Les Claypool to make together. All the songs are really cool, and it's fun to listen to. Definitely a unique sound, but it's nothing groundbreaking. My only complaint is that I don't really like how the bass is mixed, it just covers up some of Lennon's parts.
>>65448774
Sounds like what I would expect, yeah. I went through a period several years ago of owning ever project Les Claypool touched, so I might as well check this out.
>>65449077
I've been going through that phase for 4 years by now. The album is totally worth buying.
