the highest point on an arbitrary scale does NOT equal perfect!!!!!!! FUCK. it's a 10 point scale with 5/5 being the highest possible rating.
this does NOT mean the album is perfect, it's just the highest score on the scale.
if the scale was reduced to just a 3 point system (i.e. 1 star, 2 stars, 3 stars, no half stars), by your logic all 3 star albums would be perfect, and all your 4.5 star albums would go under 3 stars (because they're closer to a 3/3 than a 2/3) and become "perfect albums". fucking magic.

I'm just now going through my music and re-rating them with a new scale that is a bit more critical to my own tastes and not just what I think is composed well or something.
Hence the tags on three of them.
Some of these might drop down to the 4.5 bracket, maybe even a little lower, not 100% sure but at any rate if it is in here I enjoy it immensely.
I like music, what can I say.

I mean, I could, but I feel like it'll be something I'll eventually find in the dollar bin at Amoeba. I found Degradation Trip for 4 dollars a while ago, and recently found Boggy Depot for 2 dollars. I'm sure it'll turn up eventually. I already enjoyed the single disc version, so I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
