(Moved to /mu/ because /int/ was no help)
Trying to learn some french but I can't find any good french music. The music on the wiki is not satisfying enough. I've only really been able to get into Stromae and I've always loved Phoenix, Daft Punk, Madeon, Justice, etc. but they don't sing in French.
Suggestions?
Serge Gainsbourg speaks in some listenable French, and his music is quite acclaimed.

learn every Magma lyric by heart, you'll be set
You've got to get into Chanson music mate: Jacques Brel, Georges Brassens, Alain Bashung, Leo Ferre, Boris Vian, Michel Polnareff (the list goes on...)
Other cool French Pop musicians to get into: Jacques DuTronc, Francoise Hardy, Serge Gainsbourg (who's probably already been mentioned), France Gall, Bridgitte Fontaine, Brigitte Bardot
finally my knowledge of knowing other music besides english comes in handy
