ITT: Albums you love every song
Not a week goes by where I don't shill this or other albums of his
idk if it's their best, but it's by far the most consistent and cohesive
>>65338899
There are two Radiohead album covers back-to-back on the front page of /mu/ right now and I'm not the least bit surprised.
>>65339089
No shit they're the most popular of /mu/ core
Better than any Beatles album and any other solo Beatles album.
Good choice OP
>>65339089
>>wow theres a popular band people like on /mu/
>>wow people talk about their music a lot
>>this isnt surprising
>>this is exactly what anyone would ever expect
Literally no bad moments on this
>>65339205
Except the entirety of the record is horrible.
>>65338899
Carrie and Lowell springs to mind
>>65339221
kys
>>65339221
/edgy/
>>65339082
fuck yes. one of my favorite albums of all time and a personal 10/10.
>>65339221
when did this meme start?
>>65339205
I think the trumpet is mixed too loudly but yeah other than that everything is enjoyable
Blood Money also
>>65338899
there's heaps of these but this is probably the latest one
Don't care what anyone says, this shit's still my favorite album.
>>65338899
God-tier baroque pop

Agree!
>>65343826
>>65343214
>>65339903
>>65339225
>>65338899
I highly agree with these.

>lounge act
>>65339151
>>65339163
A LONG
SLOW
GOODBYE
>>65338899
Even the weaker songs on the album eventually grew on me.
It's too bad their new album didn't live up to the expectations set by this one.
>>65344413
You really love The Word and What Goes On?
>>65339082
same but for White Blood Cells
de stijl is close though
>>65344847
I struggle between White Blood Cells and Elephant. I think Elephant is more consistent but White Blood Cells' highs are higher.
Still gets me
>>65343214
Should I be ashamed to say this?
>>65338899
>>65344368
yep
>>65345227
one of my all time favorite albums but I don't love Even Better Than The Real Thing that much. Every other song is perfect though
and desideratum by planning for burial
>>65339974
this
>>65345725
I posted that and you're a brave man for liking U2 on this board. Me I love them and have seen them live 5 times. And I'll post this one as well.
>>65345208
omg never seen this posted here! one of my favs
Anyone?
>>65345930
cheers m8 it's been my favourite album for the past 3 years
>>65345890
I WANT SOMETHING ELSE!
>>65338899
>>65339228
>>65340051
>>65341707
>>65343185
>>65344895
Hell Yes all these
>>65343594
>>65345068
>>65345779
Agree very much with these
>>65339974
Sorta the point m8, but I can see that argument.
>>65339903
I love the album but reminder that All of the Lights (interlude) and and Who Will Make it in America are tracks.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't delete those immediately.
>>65345889
IMO most of their songs are better live, not to knock the great production on the studio versions but god damn can they perform a song. I don't really get the "U2 sucks" circle jerk, all their albums until the 2000s are great (except for maybe october and pop) and even the ones after aren't that bad but they definitely found a sound and stuck to it. I like Songs of Innocence a lot though, it's up there with AB and War for me.
>>65344282
>half of In Utero
Don't get me wrong I think it's their best album as a whole, but some of those songs are downright skippable
>>65346242
>deleting tracks
for what purpose
>>65346260
I know what you mean about live. First time I saw them was the ZOOTV tour which they haven't topped nor do I think they ever could.
>>65345601
Pretty sure it's b8 but sons of the "songs" on this are complete trash. "Low Lights" and "Silver Silver Interlude" come to mind.
>>65346352
I only got into their discog in 2012 and wasn't able to get tickets for this tour so I haven't seen them live but I think U22/Edge's Picks is my most listened to album by them, it's like a greatest hits but live with every song improved
Moon & Antarctica
Yeah, even Stop and Vera
>>65346668
People don't like Vera? I love that song.
>>65345779
this
>>65344452
>I haven't listened to ram
>No one is better than le beatles
>>65346242
>deleting who will survive in america
blasphemy. it makes the album's message coherent and gripping
>>65345325
Best 80s hip hop album.
>>65345938
Great album
>>65343214
So highly agreed
>>65346748
>>65344452
...why not both?
>>65344413
Came here to post this.

>Doggystyle
>>65346661
"no"
>>65346216
Pretty much, but not every one
>>65347214
Are you telling me you listen to Blackout or Ruled By Secrecy with the same love you listen to Butterflies & Hurricanes?
>>65346242
Oh god. Don't do this. Just go to /r/kanye and ask for a version of All of the Lights with the interlude included and Lost in the World with Who Will Survive in America included.
>>65344895
The Black Angel's Death Song and European Sona are kinda shit compared with the rest of the album
>>65347384
Yeah actually
Blackout grew on me after a bad relationship and RBS is just a great album closer
>>65347214
horrible choice
>>65347502
Curious. What about Endlessly?
>>65347580
That was actually the first song I found from absolution when browsing on youtube, loved it alot and still do because of that whole "teen crush shyness" shit. Love the reversed drums and synths.
>>65346895
I do like both. But I agree with the guy who posted Ram. Paul McCartney was better off without the Beatles. Until the 1980s that is.
>>65347627
Great, great. Love this album and at least listen to every song, but I'm not sure I could say that.
>>65347726
Eh, it just has a place in my heart I guess. It's no New Born or Fury but I still enjoy every song off the album except for maybe Falling Away with you
>>65344895
WHAT A CLON
>>65344907
Fuck yeah
>>65344413
Hell Yeah, and also this
>>65345827

I'm a different person, but pt. 2 to this kind of.
>>65345193
welcome to the patriarch
>>65338899
Electioneering and No Surprises are the only good songs on OKC
>>65339145
Praying Hands, Come Back Jonee, and a few others I never really liked
>>65340051
not bad, but Swordfishtrombones is my answer. I never really liked the song Hang Down Your Head, but even it is partially redeemed by Marc Ribot's guitar work on it.
>>65344715
I could have done without hearing Swamp
>>65344996
Don't Call Me a Nigger Whitey and Sex Machine really didn't stand up to the rest of the album for me. their next 2 albums are among the greatest, most consistently-great albums I've ever heard, though
When I was a kid this was one of the first albums I purchased and I hated it so much lmao now its top5
All of these albums are shit
Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
It carried me through a fuckin dark time in my life. It may not be objectively the best but the feels are too strong.
>>65339082
Meme band
>>65347214
Good choice, I prefer Origin of Symmetry though
>>65348734
yes
>>65339205
Thats shit
>>65350773
ironic considering they're almost never talked about on here
>>65347214
Same here anon
>>65346242
Are you legitimately retarded?
>>65344368
I fucking agree. Their last good album. I wish people would give them more props for their earlier music.
>>65339180
cheeky
>>65347384
Woah, b&h is way worse then rbs and blackout. In both lyrical and musical way
I N N E R S P E A K E R B A B Y
I seriously would appreciate getting some rec's on albums ppl have found to be equally melodically genius/tight songwriting/great production and effects ....
>>65344895
>all tomorrow's parties
>>65351987
You heard the album he produced for Melody's Echo Chamber? I liked that a lot.
>>65339221
I can see why you might think that but nah b that's not even true bahaha
>>65341267
what is this?
>>65338899
if you love fitter happier and no surprises youre dumb
hell be fine
worth the weight
>>65344452
>>65344776
Those are masterpieces compared to run for your life
lot of pitchfork in here
its like no one has a taste of their own or discovers music themselves, thread full of regurgitating bullshit meme albums
>>65352491
is this irony?
>>65347914
>pulk/pull
>>65352491
you're literally the first person to bring up p4k itt. i swear, pitchfork "haters" instill more credence into their opinions than the people they accuse of blindly following them lol.
>>65339205
I get bored quickly
>>65352546
p4k is a concept of a word here since like 2011, swap it with whatever you like as long as it roughly translates to spoonfeeding and circlejerking
>>65346216
This album is dull and the attitude it gives off is absolutely insufferable. It SOUNDS like something that would be popular here
>>65349943
Nice to hear that your music taste is regressed. You realize it's kid music right, but what are you now, 16?
>>65352278
Self important insufferably boring bullshit with absolutely appalling dead pan vocals
>>65352675
lmao
what music do you like
>>65344895
This is my favorite album of all time but run run run is a pretty weak song.

>>65352641
the attitude of the title track is fantastic.......
Little bit unrelated but are there any rap albums that are not about fucking bitches or shitty inner city conditions? something rad and not depressing, but not about money and power
>>65339221

>>65339163
Great choice
>>65339205
I think over all this is a very good album. Although i got seek of it quit quickly
Absolutely
>>65344368
I really enjoy this album and it technically very engaging, I also like most of the album but there are just two or three songs that I fucking despise which hold me back from giving it 10/10.
>>65345068
Yes
such a comfy thread. i love you all.
>>65352960
Most definitely yes
>>65349353
This desu
Saw them live last night, can't believe it's over
Fuck
>>65339903
I'm still not too keen on Hell of a Life, but yeah, all the other songs are fantastic.
>>65346668
yes, fuck everyone who complains about """fillers""". fucking normies can't comprehend this album
>>65354666
>yes, fuck everyone who complains about """fillers"""
>"""fillers"""
heh you're stupid
FOLLOW THE SMOKE
TOWARDS THE RIFF FILLED LAND
>>65354778
yeah i never trusted IQ tests anyway, /mu/ is the best place to estimate my intelligence
>>65354342
this is good shit right here
Hate me
>>65348639

>>65352538
not even the worst song on the album
literally absolutely everything is 10/10
>>65352900
Last two tracks... one of them is just nothing, the other one is gay because they talk about god.
>>65353038
Not a fan of White Light. But I don't hate it.
The posts in this thread proves that summer is here.

Great choice
I think that's the one.
>>65355924
It's about how easily manipuled kids are to believe in god, and them just saying whatever their parents say. You completely missed the point of that song.
>>65357666
Fuck yeah
>>65346668
I love this album too, in the flesh is pure eargasm
>>65346242
Honest to fucking god if you think those 2 songs are bad literally kill yourself,
