what type of guitar can i get that will last long and wont break the bank, but allow me to play music like this?

Most acoustics will work for the purpose but I would recommend going in-store and trying a few out so that you can find one that most importantly feels comfortable and secondly sounds alright.

They can be hit and miss, and sometimes salespeople will try and pressure you into getting a specific model. But if a place has a good range you can try a few things out and then buy it elsewhere if that suits you.
