>Can pioneered several genres that would become popular in the 1990s: industrial music, noise-rock, trip-hop and post-rock.

Is this true?

Why would Pierre lie to you?
>>
>>65285573
How? Trip hop is breakbeats and soul/jazz singing for one.

Also Ambient, along with Eno and Popl Vuh
>>
>>65285683
Deriving from later idioms of acid house,[4] the term was first used by the British music media and press as a way to describe the more experimental variant of breakbeat emerging from the Bristol Sound scene, which contained influences of soul, funk and jazz.[4][5]

He's probably talking about the slew of music ranging from mediocre at best to total shit at worst laden with edgy guitar and synth that they called Industrial back then.

"no"
>>
>>65285573
Post-rock and industrial maybe.
>>

>trip-hop
Fuck no. The only groups doing anything similar to that during the late 60s/early 70s was dub guys in Jamaica.

>Industrial Music
Nope, not at all. Yeah Nurse With Wound are influenced by them, but otherwise they did nothing close to industrial. The second half stuff on Tago Mago is more free jazz in the style of Can drummer's pre-Can free jazz stuff with Manfred Schoof + some electronic noises than actually industrial.

>noise rock
Scaruffi already said WLWH did it beforehand so wtf

>post rock
