I bought pic related from the dollar bin at Amoeba a couple years ago thinking it was a prog rock album, judging by the cover. Amoeba's one of those stores that has the plastic cases over the CDs that can't be opened until you go to the register, since it's such a big store, so you can't really preview everything there unless it's on their listening station's log, which this wasn't. So I made a blind purchase.
I got home and opened it up to find out it was 3 discs worth of jazz. It's like if Kenny G tried making the White Album. I don't know anyone else who owns this or has even heard of it. I can't find it anywhere online, other than the artist's website (where he has it for sale for $20) and this one track off of it on YouTube. It wasn't even on RYM, I had to add it myself.
