Hi, /mu/, I've been collecting records for several years and I'm really getting tired of it, so I'm thinking about spending my money on musical instruments instead. I'm pretty experienced with guitars and want to try something new that I have absolutely no familiarity with, preferably something that doesn't use any Western tuning or theory. What would be a good instrument to start playing with that doesn't require a big money investment ?

Sitar, dude.
I got one after playing guitar for 15 years and it has blown my mind

I've always wanted to give one of those a try. They look complicated as fuck which really interests me. Thanks for the tip, my man.

Reaktor

What makes it different from Max ?

I have no idea. I've never used Max, but Reaktor is comprised of synth modules. It's a lot of fun once you figure it out.

It just looks like a simpler version of Max to me, but it might be more convenient
