Thoughts? I've been listening to it a lot as of late and it's probably my favorite Gorillaz album next to Demon Days.

I narrowly prefer Demon Days but this is great too. Can't wait for the new album.
Empire Ants, Stylo and Rhinestone Eyes are particular highlights for me.
I love this album. I would even say I like it more than Demon Days. The bright synthetic sound somehow works great for Gorillaz.

Liked it but didn't love it when it came out, bought the vinyl at a shop a couple months ago because the price was good and the artwork is gorgeous and it immediately grew on me a lot. Just listened to it this morning, it is really great. There's a couple of weaker tracks but all their albums have that in common. The vibe and sounds are great, it's smaller scale compared to Demon Days (probably owing to being self-produced) but they sound tight and like a real band.

I really like it. More than I probably ought, to which is partially down to nostalgia but I do also love the cool arrangements and how eclectic it's influences are.
Their self titled was the first album I ever bought and I grew up with Gorillaz but as it is I really like Damon's voice and songwriting style.
As best I can, bias aside, I do think it's a pretty consistent and well put together pop album anyway.
