I used to go to Sasquatch every year, but tickets are way too fucking much now so there's just no point. I can see the bands I want at other venues and be just as happy.

the drug/party culture blows because it's just fratbro idiocy, the lineups are mediocre because they cater to fratbro idiots, the sets suck because outside sounds like shit/nobody is playing their own gear/everyone hates playing festivals, the crowds and stages are massive and remove any semblance of energy and intimacy, and they're expensive

Fun, I'm going to a lot this summer. I prefer smaller ones with lineups mostly featuring unheard of or at least indie artists. Plus you can get in for free as a volunteer and still see everything you want to.
