Dear /mu/,
Please hear me out. I am anxious, depressed, and very tired. What kind of music could I listen to so I can ease my mind? All recommendations are welcomed. The music will not be played very loudly.

it's probably a dad
I've ever been through postpartum depression but I definitely know how it feels to be depressed. Do you want sad music that will kind of match your mood or something more uplifting? Sorry just trying to get a feel for what you're looking for

Anything by Stars of the Lid.
When I'm depressed I find it best to listen to ambient music since it's not necessarily depressing, but it also doesn't feel artificially happy. It's also easy to listen to and doesn't feel tiring.
Some favorites:
Yellow Swans - Going Places
Eluvium - Labment Material
Gas - Zauberberg
Grouper - Dream Loss
Paysage d'Hiver - Die Festung

If you wanna really fuck yourself up:
>Gnaw Their Tongues - Abyss of Longing Throats (hellish, noise influenced black metal)
>Leviathan - A Silhouette in Splinters (dark ambient, very depressing)
>Neutral Milk Hotel live recordings... "Little Birds", "My Dreamgirl Don't Exist", "Engine", etc. come to mind. or just ITAOTS (sadboy acoustic with vivid imagery of childhood and/or abuse)
>Keaton Henson - Lucky EP (really depressing, suicide-hotline-core folk/acoustic)

Honestly, anything by Taylor Swift. White Horse is really good.
