Honestly these are the kinds of comments that convine me people don't know what they're saying about music. Not liking a band is fine, saying dumb shit is not.
Half of their discography is somnolent ballads, for one, so so much for "loud". And their music is filled to the brim of solos and guitar arrangements influenced by baroque and romantic music, it's not "dumb".
Derivative, gauche, tasteless, ridiculous, badly sung, badly mixed, cheesy. All of those criticisms are more than valid for Muse, and dozens other. What you said is not even applicable to them. Except "uninteresting", that's subjective and therefore valid.
