try googling "how do i find local bands playing near me"
hope this helps
ask your friends :)
The app Bandsintown shows you concerts in your area of artists you like based on the music on your phone
Talk to people who enjoy the same music as you eventually you will find venues takes time but it is very very worth it
Look up "(your city) venues"

What's the matter, OP? Don't have any FRIENDS you can ask?
not op here but I don't have any friends and i want to make friends by going to concerts. is this a good idea?
the record store near me has many independently produced bands that they distribute via cassette and 7". i don't go to them, as they're always rock bands but perhaps your local store has them as well.
they also host small concerts for anyone willing to attend and advertise if the band has flyers.
in short if the crappy rock band advertises at the local music club, you can find them there

No. I tried this. You just end up the weird guy tagging along. Wait until they find out you came alone...

I've made some great friends by doing this. Definitely recommend it my man. A lot of people go alone too, nobody cares
