Fucking love em, but I like their 90s stuff more than their 00s. That album is their best in terms of songs and probably top 10 of all time material for me, but Times of Grace is a close second. Albini really done em justice there.

But yeah it's a real shame they became a bit of a meme, at least in /metal/ IDK about the rest of /mu/ cause people don't really talk about metal outside of there. They really sound nothing like any other "atmoshit" - pretty much all of that was influenced by Isis, not Neurosis
