Is Black Midi pleb tier taste?
What do you think?

It's pretty silly but it has a certain unique appeal.

This is prolly my favorite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=881lS-Y_-bg

Pretty nice one. I really love the visual aspect of this genre, guess I'm just more of a visual person.
It just looks and sounds so glorious.

Yeah yeah, seeing the patterns and the art is a big appeal for me too. You might also like gimmick stepcharts in In the Groove, or some of the more elaborate Osu beatmaps, it's the same sort of visual/audio complexity parallel.

Started looking into this and immediately found some asian dude actually completing one of those overly complex stepcharts. Looks pretty cool, but do you mean stepcharts more complex than is possible to actually play?

Looking at this btw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnLrCiPsmZQ

Watched further and he's failing the second one, not that thats difficult. Too much distortion for a sane human to comprehend.

Wait I think the second controller, thats unused, is failing... Not sure. Chaos. I like it.

The really difficult stuff is fun to watch itself, yeah. If you want really crazy hard it gets as hard as this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxMY4NQFrOQ

iidx also has really cool patterns for hard songs

SDVX is fun too but really absurd

for gimmick charts, my favorites are probably windeu's classic marathons https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkrvR8FMHdA

In that last video, the third track, those tempo changes are fucking devious. I am amazed at the skill of this guy, or amazed at the misses a computer program can have.
>>
>>65142524
Yeah, windeu's stuff is pretty cruel. I think you have to memorize the tempo change locations or else it's pretty much impossible.
>>

Those knobs in sdvx. Just how. You are right it may be a bit too absurd. The really absurd part is the guys perfect score, though.

The DDR type game in the first video has the player looking like he's having a stroke and slipping on ice. Humans are insane.
