Best 80's jam band
Waiting Man is insane live
>Get Fripped
What did he mean by this?
Tony Levin is one of the greatest bassist and stick players of all time
Honestly, I've never actually checked out the albums besides Discipline
That album is fantastic (and better than anything Talking Heads did imo) so idk why I never got round to it

How is the Absent Lovers live album?
Fucking awesome. I was pretty disappointed in myself when I brought home Discipline. I had been listened to their first era stuff exclusively for months and never took the opportunity to get into their later material. Discipline and Thrak (though that's 90s) are now two of my all time favorite albums

three of a perfect pair is amazing. i love the Adrian Belew guitar to join the frippertronics and Tony Levin bass/stick and bill bruford on drums
Maybe their best line up ever.
One of the two prog bands that were still good in the 80s.
The other one being Genesis.
Discipline is god-tier
everything else is just good/ok
The Sheltering Sky is great, actually
