shit cheap motors give bad speed stability, shit cheap build quality gives bad isolation from vibration, shit cheap cartridges and styli give bad transcription of groove to signal, shit cheap amps give high noise and distortion and bad frequency response, shit cheap speakers give bad transduction of signal to sound
literally everything about them is done as cheap and badly as its possible to make something that still actually plays records
