94/95. Mainly because I was a youngster and Dookie by Green Day came out, and it was the first thing on the radio I felt that was mine
I didn't understand most 90's "alternative rock' music til I was older, but Green Day hit home for me right away
it was my good old days. I'm not some Green Day fanboy either, I've definitely moved on but that was like my awakening to rock music
I started playing guitar because Green Day so it might have actually ruined my life, idk
