/mu/, I need some help. I recently just got the program Fl Studio 12, but have almost no idea how to use it besides messing around with it for about an hour. Any tips on how to use it would be helpful.
What do you know about it so far?
There are some good tutorials on Youtube, I suggest watching some. Helped me a ton.

This. FL works a bit differently than most DAWs, since it's based on loops, and virtual instruments.
I had NO idea how to use it, since I started off using Reaper and audacity, but after learning about ableton, and watching a bunch of youtube tuts, FL started to make sense.
Check out FrankJavCee's videos, he's helped me a bunch.
I mean I'm still trash but at least I've learned how to be trash in a more professional way
instruments on the left, you can search to find shit as well. use the piano roll to put notes down in patterns, use the playlist to organize patterns into songs

Just try to make some music. The way I tend to learn any software is to look up how to do something specific as and when I need/want to do it, rather than watching a bunch of tutorials going through every function.
