I thought that was boring as hell. I love How to Leave Town, it captures that feeling of mid 20s malaise so well, and is his only musically interesting album. Everything else feels redundant or inferior

I'm still on the fence about this album. Will said somewhere that he was in a bit of a funk while writing it, and considering he wrote it before How to Leave Town (which I really enjoy), it might just be a case of his songwriting taking a hit due to his demotivated mood.

That being said, "The Ballad of the Costa Concordia" has already become one of my favorite songs of his.
