Klaus Schulze's most well known work. Timewind consists of two epics spanning each side of the record as a tribute to composer Richard Wagner. The soundtrack to any sci-fi novel or landscape. As with all of Schulze's work before Moondawn, these tracks were done in a single take, testament to the master.
Contains three bonus tracks: Two short ones and an alternative take of the first track on the record; an even longer version at that at 38 minutes.

Two sidelong compositions once again, but each radically different than the other. The first track, Totem, is a very meditative, relaxing piece of ambient music. One of my favorites. The second track, Mental Door, had Schulze experimenting with a phaser that a friend of his had just built and he used it to the extreme. About halfway through it turns into a wild ride of drumming with the noises bouncing off the walls. Sounds like something out of the Doom soundtrack but with more oomf.
Contains one bonus track, a longer take of "Totem."
