If you're going to listen to post-rock, at least listen to something that sounds original.

that shit sounds dope thx dude
I listened to half of All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone today, mainly because in the past (five years ago or so) Fantano spoke very highly of the band's work;
I've heard a lot of people saying they're really generic post-rock, but I figured maybe their early work would be decent.
Hoo, boy.
Was I wrong about that.
The album immediately crashes through the door with shimmering guitars that don't lift you, rather they slap you off your chair.
Zero subtlety, I'd heard it all done better anyway, and it's also quite laughable that the band recycles that tired formula again and again.
I'm amazed Fantano has a tattoo of that album.
I wonder if he regrets it.
I like em, but my rankings of their albums are a bit different than what the concensus opinion is.
Their best is a toss-up between Those Who Tell the Truth and Take Care. Their new album is probably their 3rd best. TEINACDP is really overrated.

You seem pretentious

neo-/mu/ sees anyone who writes more than two lines about a piece of music as 'pretentious'.

>trusting fantano's opinion
I found your mistake
