if her vocals werent good their music would be shit in comparison. the music behind the vocals is pretty much just bad drum samples and very simple synth patches playing simple progressions. they push no boundaries. it's definitely not bad music, it's just not good. it lacks the great melodic content that exists in the best pop music, but also lacks any kind of raw creativity or something that makes them any different from any other indie synthpop artist out there.
