Bearing in mind that Lee Mavers was such a perfectionist that he recorded the album at least twice and didn't want to release either of them, if The La's did come back and actually released something it'd probably be really good.

Shame they couldn't put together something really special for their comeback. It's not a bad song by any means but it's nothing very interesting.
As a massive fan I'll be giving it a few spins here and there for the next few days but probably ignore it until the next song or full album comes out.
It's not so bad that I'm worried about a full album but it's not good enough to make me think it could be anything more than a 6.5/10

Not bad at all. Pretty uplifting riff and beat and the vocals sounds really good.
It's not Waterfall or I Wanna Be Adored, but good enough. Closing in on 3,5-4/5 stars for me.
