I can't find any videos of the show no matter how hard I look (except for the one good song) but Elliott Smith's 2002 performance opening for Wilco in Chicago is pretty painful to listen to.
Very clearly fucked out of his mind and he can't finish half the songs he starts. Like actually if you look at the setlist he has almost as many completed songs as aborted ones. And even when he is getting it right he's slurring the lyrics and missing a lot of the guitar parts.

Cedric barely makes an effort to actually sing coherently while throwing a chair around and fucking some of the set up while the rest of the band just tries their best to keep the song going.
