I haven't been on this place in forever, my girlfriend and I just broke up, can you guys suggest some albums for this occasion please. Anything from happy to sad, I'd really like to just get back into cool music. Thanks

C'mon man, don't kick a man while he's down.

Anyway OP, if you haven't already, I recommend listening to the new Radiohead album. A lot of it has to do with a failed relationship, so if you want something sad to relate to, that might be somewhat cathartic for you.

Why are you sad, you've been saved from normiedom.
>>64795908
oh shit I definitely need to check that out, thanks for the suggestion

Thanks senpai
This is a great album to listen to when you're sad. It's really just a great album altogether. Definitely Death Cab's most underrated.
pic related was the soundtrack for my last breakup, it's corny as fuck but i still love it

One of my all time favorites, no joke.

Weird coincidence. It's been like six months or so for me. I see there's a 21 Pilots meme going on now. I'm here because my gf who I live with made a big show of kicking my ass to the curb at a karaoke bar when I refused to dance to "Let's Stay Together."
I tried to explain to her that "Let's Stay Together" is a song that uses the metaphor of a relationship on the rocks to convey the need for peace during the strife of the civil rights era and that it's not even a good song for dancing, much less a song for drunken dirty grinding amidst a bunch of sweaty white drunks.
Honestly it was one of the most autistic-ass /mu/ fights I could have had. So now she hates me and we're not speaking and I'm here and listening to this.

Funny how things like this happen, maybe its good that we both experienced shit like this at the same time. I guess this thread will be good for both of us hopefully.
My now ex had a shit taste in music so I've been out of the loop, I'll check this album out man.
