Anyone else likes Chvrches unironically?

not their music, but in a sense, i am in love with them
do people actually like music ironically? That doesn't make any sense. You can pretend to like it to be ironic.. but to actually like it.. wth bros

I think it's safe to say that I like this song ironically. I don't like it because it is competent, experimental, or particularly pleasing in and of itself. I like it in the context of music and music videos overall, where it is clearly committing several giant faux pas, but with a sort of charming innocence and self-satisfaction.
To the topic at hand: they're one of the big-ticket bands at Governor's Ball next month, and I'm going with a few friends. I'll see them, and I'll probably enjoy them, but I don't generally like their whole act. Just not music or a personality that pulls me in.
Their first album is good synthpop, the new album is just a watered down rehash. Also Dead Air and Get Away are good singles.
Their music is shit. But Lauren is so fucking cute.

Yeah, loads of people. It's safe, generic synthpop so they have mass appeal.
