I don't mind Corpsegrinder vocals, I think he does a competent job, but losing Barnes' lyrics had a big impact on CC.
Chris Barnes is one of the greatest DM lyricists IMO. He could write some seriously disburbing stuff that didn't sound like the generic gory lyrics often found in DM. Force Fed Broken Glass still makes me cringe whenever I hear it.

Peace Sells has the most memorable riffs and hooks all the way through, but it doesn't hit the same peaks as those other three imo. Wake Up Dead and Good Mourning/Black Friday are GOAT tier though.

I started listening to metal outside of big 4 thrash, metalcore and nu-metal in 9th grade. Was just a natural progression once I discovered At the Gates. Then throughout high school I spent about 6 months on each subgenre of metal. That was 10 years ago, I just mostly listen to black metal now.

Metallica was the first metal band that really enthralled me. Later I got into Megadeth. One day (I was 11 or 12) I decided to expand my tastes and explore some more bands and I found out about Whiplash, Lääz Rockit, Tankard and some other thrash bands. From that day forward metal became one of my biggest passions in life.
