Now that it's all but certain that the new Coldplay... erm, I mean Radiohead album is a massive letdown, following in the footsteps of the latest Death Grips, Drake, Bowie and AnCo albums, can we finally admit to ourselves that TLOP is the AOTY2016? Do we still need a couple of months to think about it?
nah. It's a toss up between James Blake and Venetian Snares for me.
it's kind of clear by now that TLOP was a fantastic album but not AOTY level... do i have a mind blowing alternative? no
i do agree drake and to some degree bowie (the next day>>>>blackstar) were disappointing but i'm loving this radiohead so far

TLOP was one of the worst Kanye albums. Only good songs were Real Friends, NMPILA, OG version of wolves. FML and ULB were ok and so was the beat change in famous. The rest was absolute shit.
I know lyrics are separate from music but holy shit are so many of the lines cringey. "If I fuck this model and she just bleached her asshole" "I made that bitch famous" rhyming smoothie with movie, that fucking sandwich line.
people need to stop jerking off over kanye. MBDTF was a good album but Yeezus had very few good tracks, graduation was mostly trash, he isn't a rap god.

This pretty much. TLOP was far from AOTY, way too much filler, no overly original sounds which Kanye has done on nearly all of his albums, and horrible lyrics that end up ruining most the songs for me.
