how does one into Death Grips?
I got into them by listening to Exmilitary a couple times, not "getting" it, then a couple months later I get the random urge to listen to it, then go on from there.

Seriously though, Money Store or Exmilitary will be the test. Niggas on the Moon and Bottomless Pit are probably the next in line after that. Government Plates and NLDW and Jenny Death are some real out there trips, but worth it in their own right if you're up for it.

I saw the memes. I heard the praise. I gave Exmilitary a listen. Didn't like it. Gave Money Store a listen. Thought a few songs were alright.
Listened to Money Store again a few weeks later because I knew there had to be something to the albums I was missing since they were always so highly commended and I liked it a little more. Listened to the two on repeat in my car and after the 4th times I was into both. Did the same thing for Government Plates, NO LOVE DEEP WEB, Niggas on the Moon, and Jenny Death, except while I was at home doing miscellaneous shit.
Now Death Grips is one of my all time favorite bands. I was loving Bottomless Pit on the second listen.
Death Grips is an acquired taste. Like beer for a lot of people. You have to want to like it and you have be persistent if you want to like it. You probably won't enjoy it the first time, or the second, or even the third. But if you do like it you'll notice that you dislike it a little less each time and before you know it you've look down at your phone and realize you've listened to nothing but Death Grips for the last 2 weeks.
