I play in clubs quite often and as paradoxical as it sounds i say yes, its a waste of time : expensive drinks, people automatically set on a pussy chase ape mode, loud, etc. Except for some seldom hipster locations where you can sit and drink cheap, have a chillout area. But meh. I just play there for teh monies and advertising my music. most djs are insufferable people.
