I never disputed the part about his fans being boring though
I just don't think there are too many artists out there that make youtube videos inviting fans to cover the music, start fanclubs ran by their mother, etc. death grips had /mu/ solve a puzzle and whatnot but I can't think of many other artists that are currently active and try to engage with their fans in uncommon ways.
