I thought White Pony was a solid 8.0/10 and I could really find nothing wrong with it and thought it was good but at the same time I left unfulfilled in some ways.

I think I'd like Deftones more if they didn't sound like trash. They were popular in my middle school in the early 2000s though.
the nu-metal meme is strange to me as back in those days nu-metal was pretty shittily distinct from Deftones despite Chino's rapping and their Korn festival bumfuck sleepovers
