f(x) - Pink Tape and Fiestar - Black Label are pretty solid
>>64641456
Loved it. It really spoke to my imagination and liked what he tried to do with the atmosphere but it's hard to compare Waits' albums at all. They're all so different. IMO better than Swordfishtrombones, worse than Rain Dogs if that's any indication.

>>64641770
I don't know, man. I gave him a couple of chances with records such as Köln, The Melody at Night, With You and Belonging. I find his playstyle kinda cheesy, flat and pretty boring overall. Is there anything else that would change my mind? I like more feels and energy on my piano. Or at least some impressive technique or creativite (Nitai Hershkovits for example).
>>64641883
>thoughts on Songs?
awesome. probably my favourite city pop album. the track SUGAR is honestly a 10/10 song for me. I'd link you but youtube links of the album keep getting pulled down .
>>64641705
>Empyrium, Vàli or Tenhi?
Yes, they along with Ulver, are the ultimate dark folk bands, imo. All of them are extremely good.

Got any shoegaze recs? Just barely got into mbv
>>64641952
Slowly getting out of pitchfork generic indie meme music and into Scaruffi core, nice. You're on the right path. Before you know it, you'll have your own taste and it will probably be good. Good luck anon. Btw scaruffi core (all of his 9s except like 2 are essentials) and almost all of p4kcore is just pure shite.
>>64641908
Koln Concert is the only thing I've heard of his so there's nothing I could give you that might change your mind unfortunately
>>64641912
it's also my favorite city pop album
wonderful stuff
I like Sugar too but my personal favorite songs on the album are the first 5
of course, with a few more relistens all the songs could end up becoming my favorites because Sugar Babe are brilliant
>>64642044
