ITT: albums with built-in pleb filters.
don't
Pet Sounds
That albums been pleb city since Guitar Hero has 21st Century Schizoid Man on it.
>>64639649
indeed. if you think I Talk To The Wind is not the worst song, you're a pleb
>>64639649
What is it? I Talk To The Wind?
all of the interludes
>>64639742
The end of 21st Century Schizoid Man, I Talk to the Wind, and Moonchild.
>>64639738
Are you saying that it is?
>>64639886
I am indeed saying that a shlocky dadrock folk ballad is the one bad track on the album, yes
is that so surprising, pleb?
>>64639816
>moonchild
>pleb filter
what? that's like the most accessible song. not knocking it, either, it's one of the best, but it is quite catchy
when you skip the fool
you are the fool
>>64639908
The ONE bad track?
I'm not saying it isn't bad, but come on, Moonchild is 2 minutes of song and 10 minutes of noodling.
ITT: discographies with built in pleb filters
>>64639962
Are you sure that you mean Moonchild? It's mostly meaningless instruments.
>>64640009
with AnCo, liking any of it is instapleb
Great way to end the album, too
world record holder for most pleb filters
>>64640590
Most pleb filters in one album, sure. But what about the ratio of pleb filters/song?
In that case, I'd say that might go to In the Court of the Crimson King (3 pleb filters/5 overall songs).
Of course, you have to consider Foxtrot, which has 3 pleb filters to 6 overall songs, BUT Supper's Ready is essentially 7 songs in one and therefore 10 pleb filters to 13 overall songs.
>pleb filter
Filter yourself from life, retarded underage faggot
not even close tbqh
>>64641446
Lead by example.
>>64641401
Is this a joke? Normie girls love this. She was at coachella. Look how many views her music videos get
>>64641631
he means scream dumby
>>64640808
well shit mayne when you put it that way...
>>64641631
Count how many plebs dismissed this album on this board. Literal hate. The whole albums is a pleb filter, but Scream is the biggest one. Plebs just don't get patrician pop. Period.
>>64639671
that song fits in well with the rest of the album i think
>>64640072
What's the pleb filter? I Want You, maybe?
>>64640032
Not really.
>>64642361
The entire album is a pleb filter because nobody expects the Beatles to have a quality rock album.
MISTA THUG ISOLATION (12th Movement)
>>64639649
what does that even mean
>>64640016
>meaningless instruments
>meaningless
Found the pleb
Animals by Pink Floyd. Only real fans can even make it to side 2
>>64639816
So what then? Only two songs on the entire album?
>>64639649
>Normie friend who's voting for Trump tried listening to this after hearing that it's DG's most accessiable album
>Says he hates it
>Tell him it gets more accessible after the second track
>He said that that's where he stopped
I shit you not. DG knows what it's doing.
>>64642888

A pleb filter is a filter for plebs.
>>64643470
>BE SMOTHERED IN MY RUMBLE
Ruined the whole fucking album
>>64644126
but that's the best part
Taste
>>64642888
Lol, after that it's pure pop and he couldn't even wait for it?
>>64639987
>I'm not saying it isn't bad, but come on, Moonchild is 2 minutes of song and 10 minutes of noodling.
Not him, but that's another reason why ITCOTCK is one of the greatest albums ever. It's okay if you don't like it, but don't act like it's bad just because of this.
ITTTW is good, yes, especially considering the "calm after the storm" effect when played after 21st Century, but on it's own it's nothing particularly interesting (still good and very enjoyable though).
>>64644385
lol the only more palatable album in their entire discog is PW
Taste is very easy to listen to just like the rest of MPP, the only thing I could possibly consider would be also frightened and every one loves also frightened

I'm a raging pleb that listens to mostly pop punk and I can grasp and appreciate all of these albums to varying degrees. I'm starting to think pleb is just a buzzword than a few unfortunate losers take seriously to add some meaning to their trivial, sexless lives...
>>64643718
honestly. I feel like plebs are majority anti-trump
>>64645656
but if that's true then you obviously aren't a pleb
>>64645745
Honestly I just want this election to be over so all trump and bernie memes can die
I feel like the majority of online Bernie supporters are raging sjws, which is why you call them plebs, and for some reason the majority of people who use this website are trump supporters, which is why you have the opinion you do. I seriously doubt the real majority of supporters for either of those candidates are anything other than plebs, since most people are plebs.
Told my friend it was a fantastic summer album
>mischief
>>64639671
WWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYY
>>64646185
pleb overload
>>64639738
If the pleb doesn't put the album off because of the beat of packt or kill himself because of PS, he won't get through Pulk/Revolving Doors
>Beyond Alive
Do I even have to say it?
>>64639671
Don't is 10/10 as fuck.
>>64639762
Wisdom, Justice, and Love is amazing. Empty Spaces was beyond pointless, though. Rest of the the interludes were fine.
>>64646714
I'll admit, this one got me hard when I was getting into Radiohead. It wasn't until I sat in a dark room with an open mind that I finally came to appreciate it.
>>64645656
Why did you ever think anything different holmes
>>64639649
The pleb filter is obviously Moonchild but the noodling at the end is fine if you're sitting in a quiet room with no interruptions, which is probably where one should be listening to music in the first place.
>>64645656
>sexless lives
Top kek. Stay pleb, my friend
>>64647489
Half this goddamn album is a pleb filter.
>>64647237
I agree. Pleb filters aren't necessarily bad. They're just for filtering plebs.
>>64646756

>>tfw Pulk/Pull was instantly one of my favorites at 16
>>64649063
What emotion are you expressing with this image?
Sonic Youth as a band is a pleb filter. You got that pleby sell out shit like Goo, they but then you got those hour long drones featuring Merzbow and Mats Gustafson and half hour John cage covers
>>64639762
>implying their Rick Rubin albums weren't just an interlude in their career
>>64642763
i hate Pink Floyd but I easily listened to both sides of this album (which is by far their best)
>>64646714
When I was first getting in to Radiohead Pulk and I Might Be Wrong were the only songs I liked on this album, so I think you're wrong.
>>64649649
>didnt like Life in a Glass House
whats wrong with you dude, this is coming from someone who doesn't like a single radiohead album
What the hell is a pleb filter?
>>64649674
That one track on an album at which point a normie will say "what is this shit?" and proceed to swap out your ipod with their phone and put on Future
the first 2 and a half minutes are just guitar feedback
>>64647489
does it count as a pleb filter if the filter comes in the second half of the album?
>>64644126
If you see them play the song live, it suddenly makes more sense.
>>64640009
hahahahahaha
is this what kids honestly believe these days
when I was in school it was impossible to go to a frat party and *not* hear at least three anco songs alongside the usual smattering of dmb, phish, lil wayne, etc
This album is itself a pleb filter because only plebs listen to it.
Zaireeka
>>64650953
I don't think you understand what a pleb filter is.
>>64651001
I do, but I was trying to make a funny to appear hip and edgy to my peers on this imageboard.
>>64642888
>dg knows what its doing
>4chan likes it
nice try kid
>>64639649
More like patrician filter. Which is making it to the end of the album without cringing.
>>64649646
This album is a living pleb filter
>>64643470
Great pleb filter imo
>>64644126
That's the best part of the fucking album
Kid A and Treefingers are top tier pleb filters :^)
>>64643470
Never been convinced by the atmosphere on that one
>>64646756
God, I must be real jaded fuck, because this is a great track. I guess I have no context for pop-balogna, and am thus drunk and alone.
>>64651779
There's no filter here, it's just completely incompatible with plebs.
>>64651954
naw, m8
im drunk and think beyond alive is dope even when im sober
>cowards we know what you are
>>64651996
I'm not the guy who posted that pic, but it really is strange how weirdly incompatible Laughing Stock is with most people
I've played it to a few friends before, and they clearly just can't vibe to it at all. It still doesn't make any sense to me, there aren't any abrasive sounds, it's melodic, chill and pleasant sounding all the way through
>>64651871
Power electronics in general is top-tier filter for plebs.
>>64648123
I don't really see how this has a "pleb filter", none of it is going to being accessible to plebs
you wont get through the filter to find yourself enjoying it more if you are a pleb, you will hate it from front to back
ps whitehouse suck and even they knew it, this album is only good from the perspective of how angry it is
>>64652023
I could listen to an extended cut of Beyond Alive if it included that melodic electronic wankery and Zach's drumming present at 5:32 for hours. God damn I love that song.
if a pleb somehow managed to get through THIS MAKES ME PROUD TO BE BRITISH and still think it's an ordinary grime mixtape he would probably get jumped by the Whitehouse tribute 15 minutes in.
>>64653801
It's not a real track
>>64652115
Power electronics and noise are the shittiest genres ever. Even country has redeeming qualities. You must be a total autist to enjoy that crap.
>>64653801
the whole album desu but especially first track
>>64652073
Lol dude. I realized long time ago that I shouldn't play anything I like to anyone else. It's a lost cause. As if I wasn't incompatible with everyone else already. I just play along to others' tastes. For music sharing/discussion, there's /mu/. Real life is just a bunch of random strangers with random interests, talking to them would be like "Excuse me sir, do you have a moment to talk about The Stooges?".
How has nobody posted this yet?
>>64655054
You might as well post Philip Glass at this point
>>64639649
You mean pleb fillers
>>64655054
Shit meme album. People pretend to enjoy this crap to seem patricians. The awful truth is: this album stinks. I blame Scaruffi for this meme.
>>64655193
I liked it on my first listen. It's all meticulously composed and well put together, and it's literally someone trying to recreate the sound of splicing random bits of tape together to make cohesive songs, (the thing that Brian Wilson was doing with SMiLE.)
On the subject of that, SMiLE has some pleb filters.
>Green Typewriters
>Dusk at Cubist Castle
>>64650693
What the fuck? Where did you go to school?
>>64651651
i think you mean pleb magnet
>>64645656
And the penny drops
>>64645656
Sounds like someone found out /mu/'s deepest secret
this used to be a pleb filter, but not any more
>>64639762
There's nothing wrong with the interludes on ATS though, they're short and good. Jornada del Muerto and Wisdom, Justice, and Love are great.
>Hare Krsna
>I'll Never Forget You
The entire album is a pleb filter.
>>64642997
or tell him to fuck off for being such a pleb.
>>64655193
i honestly feel bad for you dude. tmr is an absolute masterpiece and i love every second of it.
>>64658169
(You)
At first I only liked Heroes, the rest of the songs were way too wild for me. Once I started liking them, and eventually grew to fucking love them, I realized that I am transcending the plebeian level.

this thread is bad and you should feel bad
>>64644385
Most taste album of ever
>>64660226
this album does the opposite of pleb filtering
it starts with the most accesible stuff and ends with pleb-repellers
>>64660914
Flaming and Pow.R Toc.H isn't exactly accessible but i see what you mean. It starts off pretty accessible and slowly goes more and more insane
>>64659662
what track?
>>64639649
>albums with built-in pleb filters
I don't understand what that means.
