I've been listening to Illmatic a lot these days. Really just a lot of boom bap. Im looking forward to Chances new stuff. I actually enjoyed views a lot too. DOPE was a good movie.

I liked the DMX one and With You. Maybe a couple others The rest are hit or miss depending on my mood, so I consider them to be bad then.
I think I'd like some of the fence-sitters more if it wasn't 20 songs of him using a fake jamaican accent. Cut 5-7 songs off there and it probably would've looked good.

Please please PLEASE explain the appeal of Nines to me.
He's fucking huge in London and I really don't get why. His flow is nearly nonexistent and his voice is monotonous as hell to the point where I almost can't focus on what he's saying.

When he came in with his verse I thought he was just talking for a while, it took me a solid few seconds to realise he was actually rapping. And this isn't a rare occurrence with Nines either.

i feel like his best tape is shyne coldchain vol. 1 and everything is too overproduced/he tries too hard and ends up sounding forced or uninteresting imo. I used to be a huge fan when he released shyne coldchain vol. 1 and looked forward to every single realease but its just been a dissapointment for me. Only a couple of good tracks on every tape. I think he sounds the best when hes depressed and broke
