So... uh.
Now that the death has settled, can we all agree that this is a pretty good album, which was made into a great album by the artist's subsequent death? Or are this album and Bowie's death inseparable from each other? Was Bowie's death Blackstar's hidden bonus track? Am I high as a kite right now?

dayum.
before his death it was some very good music, and Bowie's death added a lot of depth to the lyrics and atmosphere.
No...the hidden bonus track....was his life...
Did P4K know he would die in a few days? Why didn't they give it a 10.0?

Gee, some bonus track
A blackstar is a type of cancer lesion. The album is literally Bowie's death.

Bowie left it for us man, his last gift to us was to make his death a work of art, for us.

>Or are this album and Bowie's death inseparable from each other?
It was literally created around the fact that he was dying. Yes they're inseparable, one only came as a result of the other.
I have not listened to this album since the week of his death. I feel like his death was a companion piece to the music, and it wouldn't work as well now as it did then.

your reaction to & understanding of death changes over time, you should listen again and see in what ways it feels different
