Well for starters, a fanbase should not reflect the quality of the music. Everyone on this board is just insecure and they make fun of DG bc of their fanbase, it's ridiculous.
Anyways, a lot of teenagers now have better taste than adults. They have the Internet, and apparently it's "cool" to have knowledge of music nowadays. Plus they have so much free time they basically just smoke weed and listen to music all day, which many adults can't do. Also, this is more of an opinion but you kinda lose the "magic" and be corn desensitized to music as you get older. I remember I used to listen to like 3-4 albums a day and love every single one, but now I kinda just put the same albums on repeat every day and can only appreciate them on a technical level.
